Weight Loss Plan
Medical conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, joint pain, breathing disorders and sleep apnea, are associated with obesity, and can endanger the length and quality of your life. Incorporating healthy eating and regular exercise into your life can help reduce your weight with the consequent result that your overall health and self-esteem will be improved.
The doctors at Weigh to Health recommend a sensible weight-loss program. In fact, it's not really a "diet" – our program simply teaches you how to eat correctly – so you can lose weight and keep it off! We teach you to view food differently so you can make better, more informed choices. We do count calories because to lose weight you have to restrict your caloric intake so your body burns up unwanted fat. However, we count calories differently than most "diets" do. Once you get used to it, it becomes second nature and lasts a lifetime. Our plan shows you how to eat the right amount of fat, carbs, and protein, and how to do it easily. We will also explain how to keep your metabolism functioning at its highest level. The bottom line is that once you lose the weight you need to lose, you will have learned how to eat correctly. You will have made a lifestyle change that will serve you for the rest of your life.
At your first visit you will view a video explaining the program. You will then have a private office visit with one of our doctors. During the visit, and if you desire and meet the medical requirements, a program will be designed for you which may include a prescription for an appetite suppressant and an injection [Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG)], which promotes increased fat loss by aiding in breaking down fat cells, thereby reducing inches. We also offer vitamin B-12 injections.
Note: Neither the appetite suppressant nor the injections are requirements of the program.
